Amazing anime, even if the animation in season 1 isn’t the best. I personally choose to look past it because few other anime even try doing battles of this size. The animation also improves every season. I would even go so far as to say season 3 and 4 animation is pretty dang good. If you like war anime give this a shot. The beginning can be rough but the show gets good fast.

i honestly feel bad for the animation adaption that they did for kingdom. The story is amazing, the characters too, And the manga is the best i have ever read. But... the animation for the first season is absolutely terrible. And for the manga to have too much bloodshed. why did they not have the anime to show the same amount. Im sure that with better animation they would get way more people watching the show and reading the manga. I stumbled upon this show just looking for a good watch on funimation. And it was mad good. For those who are reading this. I would recommend reading the manga than watching the anime because every once in a while they would skip over an important part in the anime. And just 1 more tip search for the japanese version of this because at some point they will switch up the names from the chinese version to japanese. sorry for ranting on but 1 more thing. i would recommend you to read it on ww2.readkingdom.com/ because the comments are amazing and they people in the comments are funny and will make jokes etc. that will make your day.

Pierrot should give the anime to WIT or any other studio because they didn't do the manga enough justice but at least we have an anime though
